Health screening and education event on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at CCUC-South (3000 S Wallace St.) from 1:15pm to 3:30pm
Our Asian Health Coalition and Center for Asian Health Equity will partner with Bridgeport Free Clinic and University of Chicago Pritzker school of medicine to hosting a health screening and education event on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at CCUC-South (3000 S Wallace St.) from 1:15pm to 3:30pm.
During this health event, the medical students will educate participants hot to not get sick in school, and what is diabetes and how to prevent it.
And screening service include: A1C Glucose test-this is a blood test that provides information about a person’s average levels of blood glucose, also called blood sugar, over the past 3 months. Vital signs-Weight, Height, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Waist Circumference and BMI.
As usually, our medical staffs from BFC can assisted you to find a clinic or referral to Access Care.

免费健康教育讲座和检测
10月16日中午1是15分到3时半， 在圣南堂（3000 S. Wallace）举行免费的健康教育讲座和检测。测试项目包括A1C糖化血糖素测试（可以测试你过去3个月的血糖平均数值），BP血压，HR心率，BMI身体质量指数，等等。健康教育讲座包括如何防止流感和糖尿病前期的特征，如何预防和明白糖尿病。
桥港区义诊人员还会帮助你寻找符合你需要的诊所。驻场医务人员会回答你的疑问。
本活动是由亚裔健康联盟，芝加哥医院亚裔健康平等中心和桥港区义诊，芝加哥医学院携手合作。
