Peter Y. Qiu, Esq., Principal of Law Offices of Peter Y. Qiu, which has, since 1999, served hundreds of thousands of clients from the States, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other parts of the world in business litigation, immigration, bankruptcy, estate planning, domestic relations, real estate, IBT, etc., is seeking a capable, reliable, and professional partner so that Mr. Qiu may gradually retire in the next 10 years.
You must have a superb command of English and Chinese with an Illinois license and practice history not less than 5 years. Ideally and preferably, you have a heart to serve clients with passion, devotion and commitment; see yourself as an ambitious, confident, young, energetic, and capable entrepreneur with a lot of common sense, good judgement, high standard, self-discipline, and integrity; have maintained a niche of your own with a strong interest and professional capacity in litigating commercial, business, corporate cases, including those in an immigration court; recognize your responsibility in leading, training and mentoring associates and paralegals; are able to manage the daily operation of a fast-paced, diversified, and highly competitive general practices of law; and have a deep understanding of the Chinese communities, legal intricacies, risk management, American cultures, and Sino-American relationship.
